The Haset Initiative is a woman-led startup initiative based in Ethiopia, aimed at fostering entrepreneurship among women across the country. The organization provides women with access to resources, mentorship, and financial support to build and scale their businesses. Through workshops, training programs, and networking opportunities, Haset Initiative is dedicated to breaking barriers and creating a thriving ecosystem for women entrepreneurs in Ethiopia.
As part of my Branding & Ux-Ui portfolio, I was tasked with creating a comprehensive rebranding and UX/UI design that reflects the initiative's mission and values. The goal was to rebuild a Brand & Web Design that not only shares the organization's story but also serves as a resource hub for women entrepreneurs across the country.
Lack of Brand Recognition:
The Haset Initiative struggled with visibility in a competitive market, leading to limited outreach and engagement with potential beneficiaries and partners.
User Experience Challenges:
The existing website was not user-friendly, making it difficult for users to navigate and access essential information about programs and opportunities.
Inconsistent Visual Identity:
The branding elements were disjointed, lacking a cohesive look and feel, which diluted the message of empowerment and professionalism that the initiative aimed to convey.
Comprehensive Rebranding:
I developed a new visual identity that reflects the values of empowerment, community, and innovation. This included a modern logo, color palette, and typography that resonate with the target demographic.
Enhanced UX/UI Design:s
By conducting user research and testing, I redesigned the website to improve navigation and accessibility. Key features include a streamlined layout, clear calls to action, and an intuitive interface that guides users to relevant information quickly.
